A Poem for a Rock

Could it be a start of something new?

I was alone and lonely

Scouting thru the wild

Didn't know what to do

Didn't know what to have

Could it be a start of something new?

When I felt unaccepted

When I felt rejected

When I felt completely lost

When I felt like giving up

Could it be a start of something new?

I found this rock

Sitting on a corner

I thought this is where I belong

I thought I might stay with her

Could it be a start of something new?

I was completely mesmerized

I was astonished to find out

She's not just a rock

She's the one I wanna stay with

Could it be a start of something new?

At times I thought she was cold

At times I thought she was that hard

I was wrong all the while

Coz she got the heart bigger than mine

Could it be a start of something new?

I wanna stay here with her

I don't want her to move

If this is all it takes.

I want to be a rock, too.
